FolioPA

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 June 2026
Draft for review. This is a working draft tailored to FolioPA. Please review and have it checked before public launch — items in [brackets] need completing.

These terms govern your use of FolioPA ("FolioPA", "we", "us"), a personal document assistant. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use FolioPA.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use FolioPA.

2. The service

FolioPA helps you collect, read, summarise, file and ask questions about your documents, including by connecting to your Google Drive and Gmail. Features may change as the product develops.

3. Beta software — provided "as is"

FolioPA is currently in beta. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. It may contain bugs, change, or be unavailable, and automated summaries or extraction may be incomplete or incorrect. Please do not rely on FolioPA as your only record of important documents, dates or deadlines.

4. Not professional advice

FolioPA's summaries, extracted details and AI answers are provided for convenience only and are not legal, financial, tax or other professional advice. Always check important information against the original document.

5. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the documents and content you add. You grant FolioPA the permissions needed to store and process that content in order to provide the service (see our Privacy Policy). You confirm you have the right to add any content you upload or connect.

7. Acceptable use

8. Third-party services

FolioPA relies on third parties (including Google, Anthropic, Supabase, Resend and Vercel). Your use of connected services such as Google is also subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

9. Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend or remove features, and the beta may end. We'll give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FolioPA is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, or any loss arising from reliance on the service — including missed dates, deadlines or renewals. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using FolioPA and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms. On termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.

13. Contact
